What style of Salsa is taught on My Salsa Online?

We teach Salsa On2 style, which is also commonly referred to as “NY style”.

How do I determine my level?

Beginner is for the student who has never taken any formal classes or is just starting out and wants to learn the concepts of timing, leading and/or following techniques, and basic turn patterns.

Advanced Beginner is for the student who has taken at least 4-6 months of consecutive classes, is very familiar with the On2 timing, and is able to lead and/or follow basic turns, cross body leads, and traveling turns with different hand variations.Intermediate is for the student who already has experience on the dance floor and has a strong understanding of the On2 timing.

The Intermediate student is comfortable leading and/or following different and more challenging turn patterns and is able to sync their dancing with the music. An intermediate student is ready to be challenged with more complicated techniques and turn patterns.

All Guest Instructor products are one-time purchases and you will have access for life.

If you purchased the VIP membership - your subscription will be rebilled according to the terms you agreed to.

I was charged after my VIP trial, can I request a refund?

Your membership will automatically renew at the promotional rate you agreed to at the time of purchase. If you wish to cancel your membership and prefer not to continue after your trial - please email support@mysalsaonline.com before your trial ends. You may request to cancel at any time and you will continue to have access until the end of your billing period, however, refund requests will not be honored.

I need to update my billing information.

Enter the email you signed up with here. PayKickstart will email you a link to update your billing information. You may also update your billing information through any rebill reminders from support@paykickstart.com.

VIP Membership

I bought VIP Membership 1.0 - Do I have access to 2.0?

Yes! We have been in the process of transitioning to a new membership. All VIP Members will have access to both the 2.0 and 1.0 areas. All new content will be added to the newer version of the membership. The VIP 1.0 area will remain available, however, we will not be adding additional content to this area.

What do I have access to?

Will you renew my VIP membership automatically?

Yes. The VIP membership is a monthly or annual subscription. Your membership will automatically renew according to your agreement at time of purchase. If you do not wish to continue with your membership - email: support@mysalsaonline.com.

Will I receive a reminder about being rebilled?

Yes! Monthly members will receive a reminder 3 days before the rebill date. Annual members will receive a reminder 7 days before the rebill date. You will be able to update your billing information through the reminder email from support@paykickstart.com or follow the instructions to cancel.

When are your LIVE classes? Where can I watch the replays?

The LIVE online classes are scheduled for every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:00pm EDT. (NY Time.) Simply visit our LIVE VIP Room during our scheduled time to catch us LIVE!

Class levels alternate weekly.
Tuesday: Beginner
Thursday: Advanced-Beginner
Tuesday: Intermediate
Thursday: Intermediate-Advanced

You'll be able to catch the replay immediately after it is over on the very same page. The replay will also be added to its respective level in the VIP Student Membership 2.0 after it has been edited and tailored to the class material.

I'm a monthly VIP member, can I upgrade to the annual membership?

Absolutely! You can upgrade your plan anytime. Just send an email to support@mysalsaonline.com and we'll make any adjustments necessary.

How do I cancel my VIP membership?

You can cancel your monthly or annual VIP membership at any time by sending an email to: support@mysalsaonline.com. You will continue to have access until the end of your billing period. Please provide at least 24 hour notice of your cancellation, otherwise your card may be charged.
